This Ginger Mojito Recipe is my new favorite summertime drink. While potent, it is also crisp and refreshing. The combination of Ginger, Mint, and Lime is just what you need for a relaxing evening or social gathering.
Plus, the act of muddling is a GREAT stress reliever.

Ginger Mojito Recipe
While potent, it is also crisp and refreshing. The combination of Ginger, Mint, and Lime is just what you need for a relaxing evening or social gathering.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1-12 ounce Ginger Beer the alcoholic kind
- 3 ounce Light Rum
- 1 Lime cut into 8ths
- Mint Leaves to taste I like to use Mojito mint
- Simple Syrup to taste
- Ice
Instructions
-
In a cocktail mixer add your lime sections, mint, and rum; muddle until all your frustrations are gone.
-
Add some ice and simple syrup (to taste) to, 2-10oz cocktail glasses and then divide the mint mixture between each glass. I prefer to strain the mixture as I pour.
-
Next pour ½ of the Ginger beer into each glass, (or if it has been a particularly stressful day, pour it all into one large glass).
-
Garnish with additional mint leaves and a slice of lime if you like and ENJOY!!!
Recipe Notes
I joke about muddling being a great way to relieve frustrations, but seriously I know that smashing the crap outta things is a great way to get your frustrations out. Seriously, even if you don’t drink you should learn to prepare this beverage for other simply for the fun of smashing the mint and lime. 😉
**If you are concerned about calories please note that the estimation my recipe program is making this drink is off. It is roughly half of the calories shown, depending on how much simple syrup you prefer.
