I don’t know about you but I LOVE TO GRILL… I LOVE to cook outdoors! There is something wonderful about being out in the open air with food cooking over hot coals. This new recipe; Herb Grilled Chicken Tenders is the perfect protein for cooking outdoors. They are juicy and full of flavor. You can even add BBQ sauce to them near the end of cooking when you want to spice them up from time to time.
Herb Grilled Chicken Tenders
- 4 – 6oz Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1 Tablespoon herbs de provence
- 2 teaspoons Avocado Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
Slice chicken into tenders of equal size. Coat with 1 teaspoon of oil. Season with herbs de provence and toss to coat.
About 5 minutes before you place them on the grill, toss seasoned chicken tenders with lemon juice. Use the remaining oil to “grease” the grill grates. Grill each tender for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
Allow to rest 5-8 minutes and serve with grilled vegetables or bacon wrapped asparagus.
