28 Days of Witchcraft, 2026

A Gentle Path Back to Wonder, Practice, and Power

Lately, I’ve noticed a familiar refrain echoing through online spaces, and public social media groups, comment threads, quiet messages sent to me in confidence:

“How do I bring more magick into my life?”
“How do I become a Witch?”
“What do you actually do to feel witchy?”

And every time I see these questions, I smile.

Because questions like these are signs of something stirring.

Curiosity is the spark before the flame. It’s the first whisper of remembrance. And in witchcraft, as in life, curiosity is what leads us into practice, discernment, and eventually, confidence.

There is no single way to be a Witch. There is no universal checklist, no aesthetic threshold, no hidden rulebook. Witchcraft is an umbrella of practices, paths, and philosophies, each shaped by culture, land, ancestry, intuition, and lived experience.

The only way to discover your way is to explore.

When I first stepped onto this path over twenty years ago, I sampled everything I could reach: traditions, techniques, rituals, and ideas. What I practice today looks nothing like what I practiced then, and that evolution is not a failure of devotion; it’s a sign of growth.

Exploration is not a detour from the path.
Exploration is the path.

But there is one truth that reigns above all others:

Your mindset shapes your magick.

The attitude you bring to your practice, your openness, curiosity, self-trust, and willingness to experience rather than perform, will determine the depth and vitality of your craft far more than any tool or title ever could.

With that in mind, I created this offer for you.

What follows is a 28-day journey of simple, intentional practices designed to help you live witchcraft—not as something you do once in a while, but as something you gently weave into your daily life.

Take one day at a time.
Move slowly.
Let curiosity lead.

How to Work with This Journey

Each day, begin by spending 5–10 minutes in quiet presence.
Choose a form of meditation that feels accessible and nourishing, sitting silently, walking, stretching, chanting, breathwork, or simply being still with a cup of tea.

This is not about perfection. It’s about relationships.

An Invitation to Walk This Path Together

If this 28-day journey stirs something in you, if you find yourself longing not just to read about witchcraft, but to live it in good company, I want to extend a gentle invitation.

This February, we’ll be working through 28 Days of Witchcraft together inside the Rebel Mystic Coven.

Not as a challenge to conquer.
Not as a checklist to perform.
But as a shared rhythm one day, one practice, one moment of presence at a time.

Inside the Coven, you’ll have:

  • A supportive circle of fellow practitioners walking alongside you

  • Space to reflect, ask questions, and share experiences (or witness quietly)

  • Gentle guidance, encouragement, and context for each day’s practice

  • A community that honors curiosity, sovereignty, and real-life witchcraft

You don’t need to be “experienced enough.”
You don’t need fancy tools or perfect rituals.
You only need the willingness to show up as you are.

Witchcraft was never meant to be practiced in isolation; it thrives in shared hearths, trusted circles, and living conversation.

If you feel the pull, we’d love to have you with us.

Sit with us by the fire.
Bring your questions, your wonder, your half-formed knowing.
Let February be a month of remembering what it feels like to belong to your path.

You can join The Rebel Mystic Coven as a FREE or paid member, and step into this journey with us - together.

🌙 You are welcome here.

The 28 Days of Witchcraft

Day 1. Sit quietly outdoors and awaken your senses. Feel the ground beneath you, notice the air on your skin, listen deeply, and breathe the scent of the land.

Day 2. Learn the phases of the Moon and reflect on how her cycles mirror your own rhythms of rest, growth, and release.

Day 3. Read something about witchcraft written by someone unfamiliar to you. Notice what resonates—and what doesn’t.

Day 4. Visit a metaphysical or botanica shop (online or in person). Observe what draws your eye without judging why.

Day 5. Read a myth or legend of a deity who intrigues you. Let the story speak symbolically rather than literally.

Day 6. Explore a divination method you’ve never worked with before—cards, runes, scrying, pendulums, or omen reading.

Day 7. Choose a plant, herb, or spice and learn both its magickal correspondences and its practical uses.

Day 8. Research a form of magick you’ve never tried—kitchen, candle, knot, garden, tea, spontaneous, or folk magick.

Day 9. Learn about a witchcraft tradition outside your current practice. Approach it with respect and curiosity, not comparison.

Day 10. Create something with your hands for spiritual use—an altar cloth, charm, wreath, sigil, or piece of devotional art.

Day 11. Choose a stone or crystal and research its energetic properties, geological origins, and historical symbolism.

Day 12. Deepen your relationship with a favorite herb by learning how it supports both body and spirit.

Day 13. Take a cleansing bath or shower with intention. Imagine stress, stagnation, and doubt washing away.

Day 14. Gently research a type of magick that challenges your comfort zone. Notice your reactions without judgment.

Day 15. Explore a spiritual path or tradition that makes you uneasy. Ask yourself why—and listen honestly.

Day 16. Read a chapter from a witchcraft book slowly and intentionally, taking notes on what speaks to you.

Day 17. Listen to music that awakens your inner Witch. Let your body move if it wants to.

Day 18. Learn about a feminine deity or archetype who calls to you—past, present, or mythic.

Day 19. Journal about where you are on your path and where you feel drawn to go next.

Day 20. Learn about a masculine deity or archetype, exploring balance rather than binaries.

Day 21. Begin a Book of Shadows or Grimoire. Let it be messy, evolving, and alive.

Day 22. Witness a sunrise or moonrise in silence, offering your attention as a form of devotion.

Day 23. Write about your beliefs, values, and ethics. What guides your choices as a practitioner?

Day 24. Study the elements—earth, air, fire, water, and spirit—and notice which one feels most present in your life right now.

Day 25. Create or refresh an altar using items that feel meaningful rather than “traditional.”

Day 26. Learn about the Sabbats and seasonal festivals, noticing how they align with the natural world around you.

Day 27. Research the folklore and symbolism of an animal you feel drawn to.

Day 28. Write a simple spell or intention not to perform, but to understand how energy, will, and symbolism interact.

Closing Reflections

This 28-day journey is only a beginning.

Each of these practices could be expanded into weeks or even years of study. The goal here is not mastery, but relationship. Not performance, but presence.

I invite you to reflect when you’re finished:

  • Did anything surprise you?

  • Did your perspective shift?

  • Do you feel more grounded, confident, or curious?

  • Did your definition of witchcraft change?

And above all, remember this:

This path is meant to be lived, not endured.
Yes, there are moments of seriousness and shadow, but there must also be laughter, wonder, and joy.

Live your path.
Love your path.
And laugh often along the way.

Wishing you many bright blessings,
Leandra
