Spicy Sausage and Kale Soup
Ingredients
- ½ lb Bacon Chopped
- 1 lb Hot Pork Sausage**
- 1 Large Yellow Onion
- 6 C Chicken Stock
- 4 C Kale Washed and Chopped
- 1 C Heavy Cream
Instructions

In a large stockpot over Med-High heat render your bacon until crispy. Drain and set aside.

Remove sausage from casings and break it apart. In the same pot over Med-High heat, brown sausage. Drain and set aside.

Chop the large Yellow onion and over Med-Low heat cook until translucent.

Add your stock and sausage and bring to a boil. Add ½ of your bacon pieces.

Add kale and cook for 1 minute, turn off heat.

Allow to cool for about 5 minutes and add cream.

Serve immediately and garnish with bacon pieces. You may place it in the refrigerator for later.

**If there is a reason that hot sausage cannot be used you may substitute with a milder variety.

Making Magick in the Kitchen:
This soup is perfect for dispelling anger and quarrels between people. The soup must be eaten by all parties involved for it to work. When you want to turn this recipe into a spell you only have to make a couple modifications as you cook the ingredients.

Before you chop your onion you will carefully carve the names of those quarreling into your onion. Then chop your onion as the recipe notes.
After you add the Kale you will want to stir the soup slowly, first 9 times counterclockwise as you envision the quarrel ending. Then stir it 9 times clockwise as you envision the parties apologizing, hugging and making amends.
Serve this soup to everyone involved.
A great way to ensure everyone eats the soup is to host a dinner party where you all have a chance to strengthen relationships. If this is not possible to get all the parties together under your roof, you can place the soup in containers and give it to them to consume on their own. Note that if someone other than the intended eats the soup the spell will be void.
It is possible that repeat this spell, depending on the depth and volatile nature of the argument.
